At The Lemon Tree our favourite location for planning weddings in Sicily is Castelmola where a good working relationship has been established with the Mayor and the local Commune.  This medieval town is perched almost precariously above Taormina and is often referred to as one of the most beautiful towns in Italy.  Our chosen wedding venues are: Il Castello, the highest point of the town at the castle ruins provides a unique setting that is fit for a film set and the  Santa Caterina, a traditional Sicilian church located in the heart of Castelmola’s Piazza Duomo.
